Thousands voted, shortlists were drawn up, and last night the winners were revealed at the UK Festival Awards…
The award for Best Family Festival 2012 went to…
Latitude
Another highly coveted award that us parents look out for is Best Toilets which was won by LodeStar (and, having been there myself, I can safely say they certainly were the cleanest festival toilets I have ever used!)
Congratulations to all the winners and nominees after a year of very hard work and challenging weather and economic circumstances. Again I find myself disagreeing with many of the shortlists, with some glaring omissions… but can only guess that some festival organisers are less bothered about the awards and so do not ask their audiences to vote for them?
