Big Chill Festival

All indications are that the Bill Chill Festival will not return, with the organisers focussing on other events.

In 2011, The Big Chill really cemented its rightful place on our family friendly festival map.

2011 was more family friendly than ever as The Big Chill laid on its best ever facilities dedicated to families flocking to the festival. The Little Chill, a festival within a festival, provided an extra special addition to the site.

Combining the kids’ area, family camping, midnight movies programmed especially for children to wind down and a little something for the parents too, The Little Chill ensures festival goers of all ages will be catered for, open to family ticket holders exclusively and linked directly to family camping for ease and enjoyment.  The way this has been so carefully thought through and planned out should make for a very safe and relaxing festival experience for families.

Open only to festival goers who have specifically purchased a family ticket, the area features entertainment laid on especially for younger audiences as well as housing the family camping area and facilities.
