***BLISSFIELDS 2018 CANCELLED***

2018 Blissfields will be a small and intimate affair but will run for 3 days instead of 2! Find out more about Blissfields presents Blisscamp…

Highlights for Families include Angel Gardens: a wonderful space for families and adults alike and everyone will find something to suit, even if it’s just a quiet space to reflect for a while. They will bring arts, crafts, workshops and amazing spaces to the weekend. Run by folk who work for love not money they have built up a great following at festivals across the country.

Camping: There is an area indicated for family camping – we recommend you get there early to secure a space. The festival site is small which is great when getting around but it does mean that you can hear the music from your tent – we recommend you take ear plugs!

Facilities: We recommend you also buy a ‘posh wash’ pass which gives access to hot showers and flushing toilets all weekend.

Other lovely things you may find interesting are:

Craft and workshop area –  Make yourself a leather bracelet, bag or pouch, have a go at tie dyeing a T shirt, carve a beautiful amulet from soapstone, create your own pottery work of art, learn to tie some interesting knots, watch a blacksmith at work and make a metal hook yourself. There will also be drum workshops and story telling.

Choice of bars: The Main Bar, Bradley Bubble Bar and Blisscotheque Bar – they will all serve drinks at reasonable prices and will provide varied drinking experiences with the latest open until 2.00am. Stocked with local real ales, draught cider, quality lagers, refreshing cocktails, most spirits and of course gallons of PIMMS.

Food traders at Blissfields have always been quality and this year is no exception. With stalls bringing tastes from around the world, Asian, S. American &, Italian cuisine as well as local organic produce are all on the menu and of course they have great options for vegetarians as well.

Craft and clothes stalls – if retail therapy in a field is your thing remember to pack the cash. From vintage clothes, to jewellery and fancy dress, it’ll all be there! There’ll also be therapy stalls as well as massage & even wet-shaving on offer.

The Hidden Hedge is one of the most talked about areas at Blissfields. After dark it’s a hidden away disco den of DJs where anything goes late into the night, but during the day it is a more chilled out haven.

Camel Camp uses beautiful pre-erected Tuareg style canvas tents, stylish and cool, for their luxury camping site.

The tents sleep 4 people, or offers spacious luxury for a couple, complete with airbeds, rugs, and room service. The Camel tent village will have its own associated cafe and will be sited in a premier position in the camp site. Camel Campers will also have use of posh loos and showers included in the price. To book please visit their website: www.festivalglamping.com

You can make the Blissfields experience last longer by getting a Thursday Ticket. There’ll be live music, DJ’s, foodstalls and bars open. Campsite opens 12 noon Thursday.
