Lawnfest – the family festival with the big heart.

A fundraising festival of Music, Art and Food held in 32 acres of picturesque grounds.  And all the funds raised go to West Heath, a very special school which uses education to rebuild the lives of severely emotionally traumatised children.

Lawnfest showcases the raw musical talents of unsigned acts as well as signed headline acts; plus tasty treats, an affordable art auction, a full programme of shows, workshops, and amusements for the kids to watch, take part in, and enjoy.  There’s also artisan food and drink, and a fantastic children’s garden filled  with clownish capers, fun workshops, shows and a teddy bears’ picnic.

Getting there

The festival is just a short train ride out of London, it is a non-camping, not-for-profit event.

The New School at West Heath is attended by children between the ages of 11 and 19 who have tragically suffered emotional damage through abuse, bereavement, bullying and or other similar trauma that leaves them unable to cope with mainstream schooling. After they leave the school, they are returned with great care to the education system to rebuild their lives. Lawnfest was initiated by Camilla Al Fayed and The Al Fayed Charitable foundation supports the event and West Heath School.
