Set in an area of outstanding beauty, PennFest (Previously Penn Festival) is a very English affair. Music festival meets village fete, it’s an event where locals mingle with music and festival lovers from further afield to create a very intimate and friendly crowd with one objective in mind – to relax and enjoy themselves in the beautiful Chilterns countryside.

With a huge line up including Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers, Feeder, Leftfield and Example, this year is sure to be the biggest festival yet for the village of Penn (easy pre-booked bus ride from High Wycombe).

What’s on for kids?

Arts and crafts workshops, street entertainers and performers and a circus workshop where they can learn circus skills. All the children’s events are free. We have Bigtopmania (from Camp Bestival, Glastonbury etc.) running the free kidzone where there will be a circus tent with circus skills workshops, crazy bikes, crazy inflatable’s, trapeze workshops, family circus shows, big balloon disco, big bubbles (with the kids inside them), stilt walkers and clowns.

There will be Hula Hoops, diabolos, plate spinning, devil sticks, tightrope walking, slack lining, toddlers play, balloon twisting, coconut shy and side show games.

A key element of Penn Festival is showcasing the very best under the radar bands. Many of the bands who performed in previous years have gone on to secure record deals and achieve Radio 1 and Radio 2 airplay. This year, once again, there will be a dazzling selection of exciting new bands performing.

Live bands, street theatre, free creative workshops, circus skills workshops, children’s entertainment, arts based stalls, free Reggae music workshops and lots, lots more, all lovingly crafted together to create a perfect event for the whole family. There will be a disco tent with guest DJ to continue the party once the bands have come off stage.

There will be also be a global artisan market with a selection of stalls offering items such as clothes, jewellery, temporary body art, hammocks and arts and handicrafts.

There will be a beer tent with a full range of wines and ales and a fabulous selection of food stalls including wood fired pizza, noodles bar, Indian, homemade ice creams and lots more!

Camping will be available on site for a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Hot showers in the camping area and a ‘quieter camping’ family zone complete with fairylights. Glamping and pre pitches tents are available.

The bar and second stage is set in a big top tent providing protection against weather.
