Shrewsbury Food Festival

29th - 30th June 2024

Location: Shrewsbury, UK

Website: www.shrewsburyfoodfestival.co.uk

Shrewsbury Food Festival encourages everyone to get involved – no matter what their age or experience – and learn something new; from rolling sushi, to roasting ingredients over an open fire. It’s a great place to learn new cooking skills and discover some fantastic new recipes to take home for the family. A host of celebrity foodies are always around to add some extra spice to proceedings.

We especially love that Shrewsbury Food Festival build one school garden a year out of their funds as a way to promote food education to the young in their community.

Shrewsbury Food Festival

Fun for all the family

A huge array of entertainment is put on for children, such as live music performances from bands, choirs and singers on The Buttermarket stage – providing the perfect opportunity to sit down, have a drink and soak up the festival vibes.

Cooking classes are available for kids too, as well as a huge children’s area that will keep them occupied for hours. It’s full of free activities such as the climbing wall, a creative area, a “Have a Go” music tent – plus an onsite crèche, allowing parents to have some uninterrupted shopping time!

“Education is at the heart of our festival. It matters to us more than anything else because kids are our future. We have a great programme of events planned that we think kids and parents will enjoy; messy, fun and educational!”

This is a 2-day event and your ticket gives you access to one full day at the festival. There is no camping, so you can travel light.
