Visit the Norfolk Showground for a fun filled, educational day out to learn more about food, farming and the countryside. There will be lots to see and do, with over 70 interactive stands and a variety of animals including cows, goats, owls, ponies and of course the dancing sheep in The Sheep Show! Take a journey around the Showground on our tractor rides and visit the Countryside Area to watch sheep dog demonstrations, sit on a vintage tractor and see birds of prey. It’s like a mini Royal Norfolk Show just for children (and their grown ups of course!)
The event is aimed at children from age 4-14, children aged 2 and under are free but food or drink will not be included for them. A vegetarian option is available instead of hog roast.
There will also be food snacks available to purchase from our onsite cafe in the St Walstans’s building, a coffee car and some ice cream stalls on site.
Baby changing facilities, first aid and child tagging are available on site for your peace of mind.
The Norfolk Showground is an excellent site for large events as is purpose build for it and the facilities are excellent.
It is easy to get to from the A47 but there will be queuing, although this is generally well managed.
