Brother Strut will headline the Summer Breeze Festival main stage with their energetic UK soul and funk on Saturday the 19th of July 2014. This six piece band are all seasoned session players who between them have played on numerous hit records with artists such as Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner, Alicia Keys and The Temptations. The Saturday headline support slot is filled by the amazing Sheelanagig. Their infectious Balkan rhythms and beats will keep your feet a jiggin! Laid Blak are set to headline the café stage on Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday morning. Having recently been hailed as the best reggae band in Northern Europe, the joyful energetic unity they exude throughout their show proves Laid Blak to be the ultimate festival act. Over the two days 25 quality acts will play across two stages, the line-up is filled with amazing quality music acts from all over the UK; with more acts still to be announced. Whilst listening to quality music you can enjoy a variety of reasonably priced fine foods and real ale. Take a stroll around our quirky festival traders and chill out in our tranquil healing garden.

Family fun will be provided in the dedicated children’s area, including a big fun art and craft tent where activities are offered at no cost on the day. Around the festival site will be oodles of silliness and many goings on including stilt walkers, circus performers, fire jugglers, puppet shows, junk building, pizza workshops, the silly hat stand, juggling ball making, ribbon skirt making and wearing, didgeridoo workshops, silly games and even the creation of a giant mural. Plenty to keep the kids amused, including the big kids!

Enjoy not just quality music, but a variety of fine foods and a real ale bar (we ensure these are reasonably priced). Take a stroll around the vintage market, quirky festival traders and chill out in the tranquil healing garden. The vintage tent holds tea parties, fashion shows, make-up and hair styling workshops and much more besides. Set in the rolling countryside of Wiltshire, the independently run Summer Breeze Festival is a family-friendly event, intimate and inclusive for audience and musician alike, tickets are strictly limited to 2,000 – a big step up from its humble beginnings of 150 people in 2006 – but still with an intimate feel. Profits from this festival are donated to Charity.

What makes Summer Breeze unique?

The site is really well laid out and a safe place for parents to enjoy themselves without worrying about the kids too much. It is a small festival which means the chances of losing your child is much smaller than at bigger events, but we have still planned a lost child point with all kids wearing wrist band with parent contact number. The ticket prices are set to cover costs only to make the event inclusive for all. We offer a great variety of quality food and drink, which is sensibly priced – there is no sponsorship. Summer Breeze is just loads of like minded people out to have a fantastically relaxed time with their families, whilst enjoying great music.

Site and Facilities:

Very level site, quiet camping area, maximum 100 metres from car park to arena and campsite (this is a big bonus if you have to cart loads of camping equipment!), good mobile coverage.
