It’s all about healthy options

VegfestUK events are free to the public and are jam packed with entertainment, stalls, competitions, kid’s activities, cuisine from four continents, cookery demos, music, talks and even a secret garden…

Brighton is set to host an expanded two day show called VegfestUK Brighton on March 17th and 18th 2012 at The Hove Centre, as thousands of families descend upon the town for the festivities. Highlights of the show – which is FREE to the public – include a Ready Steady Cook competition which sees some of Brighton’s top chefs pit their skills against veggie specialists to create the most innovative plant based meal inside 30 minutes, with the audience acting as judges. There’s also a Best Veggie Sausage competition including blind tastings by our panel of judges, as well as a mix of films, veggie cookery demos for kids – with vegan pirate Captain James Tea Cook, entertainment, music, performance, talks and product presentations. And with over 100 stalls at the show each day, including a number of veggie specialist caterers, families will be spoilt for choice at this lively and fun filled event.

And food producers from across the globe will unite in 2012 at VegfestUK Bristol at what promises to be the biggest family friendly veggie event anywhere in the world – with cuisine from four continents being represented, and all of it 100% plant based. Caterers from India, China, Latin America and Europe will gather to produce the most exquisite range of cuisine imaginable, and with the emphasis on health and nutrition as well as taste and texture, the VegfestUK events become quite unique in the culinary experience offered to its visitors.

The event also includes a kids area with lots of exciting activities to keep your little ones busy, an animal sanctuary, live family entertainment on the performance stage and a secret garden.
