Shambala 2016 Review
One of the things I love about Shambala is that the organisers obviously love it as much as I do. The extra thought given to details at this festival is simply incredible.
This year they put on so many extra little stages and acts that I’ve decided to concentrate on the new things! If you want to see what else is on offer – I would love it if you would go and read my other reviews. I reviewed Shambala in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as well (this is how much I love this festival).
Starry Skies 2015 Review
It was our first visit to Starry Skies, although we were excited about it because it is run by the same people as Shambala (my favourite of the adult festivals).
Starry Skies doesn’t list itself as a music festival as such – it is more like a family camping holiday with activities. For us, this meant it was all the best family friendly parts of a festival without the crazy madness, and with the chance to get a decent night’s sleep!
Shambala 2015 Review
Another year another Shambala Festival! For a medium sized festival, we all agree this one is hard to beat. It remains our family’s favourite festival, because it has so many different activities and exciting performances and artwork everywhere, that every year there’s something new to experience. They also listen to feedback from festival goers, meaning that each year they make changes to try to improve the event, which shows how much they value their supporters, who keep coming back year after year. This was our fourth Shambala, and definitely not our last!

Shambala deservedly won Festival of the Year in our awards last year. Could they deliver another award winning performance?
The answer as far as our family goes is – yes!
Another truly wonderful weekend from the festival that keeps on getting better and better!
Best festivals for toddlers 2014
The toddler stage is possibly the most difficult age to do festivals, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be done!
For really young kids we recommend small festivals, particularly if you are not an experienced festival-goer or camper. For a successful festival experience with toddlers you need space to run around or relax, less crowds, smaller distances between campsite, arena and carpark, a good selection of child-friendly food and a willingness to take things at your toddler’s pace (see also Naomi’s Top Tips for doing Festivals with Toddlers).

Shambala 2013 Review
SHHHHambala! The secret’s out…
One of the more exciting but less well known festivals in the UK is gaining fans year on year. This year it sold out weeks in advance, and I would advise anyone wanting to go next year to get tickets early.
I only hope that it doesn’t grow any larger because this year it was the perfect size to create a fantastic atmosphere without feeling too crowded.
