Elderflower Fields is a small, independent festival, created in 2012 by a small team of friends originally in the Sussex countryside and now also at the stunning location of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire – the perfect environment for kids and grown-ups to fully escape for the weekend.

Each year Elderflower Fields builds upon it’s winning formula of a festival designed especially for families. It’s an exciting and unique experience that opens children and their parents’ minds to new opportunities in sport, music, the arts, the environment in the great outdoors.

Throw in a fantastic selection of locally produced food & drink and a fairytale setting, nestled in the beautiful countryside and you have the perfect small festival. A delightful, stress-free weekend of family camping all culminating on Sunday with the amazing Elderflower Fields picnic!

What’s on for kids?

Elderflower Fields is all about giving kids the chance to try new things & experience new activities. The festival is be centred around what children want to do, with really exciting sporting activities and creative workshops in nature and the arts, all of which will leave a long-lasting impression in their minds…

Sports and Art camps can be prebooked so adults can take some time out. There is a selection of more adventurous activities aimed at older children while play & arts area for preschoolers and specific under 5s sessions.

Camping and Facilities

The camping areas are tucked away from the main areas of the festival, surrounded by beautiful countryside so you can be assured a good night’s sleep. There’s loads of space so large groups are able to camp together in one area and there are communal fire pits around the site at night time.

Live-in vehicles are welcome in the campervan area and glamping options are also available.

There are plenty of toilets, heated showers, free drinking water access and washing up facilities in the camping area.
