Sunflowerfest is resting this year and will hopefully be back in 2020! Below is the information we have about previous festivals.
Sunflowerfest features the Finn Macool main stage, the much acclaimed Campfire Stage and the The Barn (for the rowdies!). There’s a craft and food village adjacent to Paddy’s Electric Disco Shed (an area for electronica, folktronica and night time DJ sets) .
Sunflower Bliss offers complementary therapies and workshops of all kinds. Festival goers can enjoy yoga, Dru dance and meditation, Reiki, massage, aroma therapy, laughing yoga, Tai Chi and much more magic.
The Moot will be the venue for impromptu acts, discussion, comedy, poetry, story telling, and a platform for anyone with something to say, sing or strut.
For families and kids of all ages, there’s the Enchanted Glade and the dedicated Kidz Zone.
What’s on for the kids?
Throughout the weekend there will be kid’s music and dance workshops, face painting, story telling, sponge throwing, willow sculpting, clay modelling, circus and poi workshops, poetry, puppet shows, kid’s yoga and many fun games are planned in the Kidz zone. Most activities are free with some workshops asking a nominal fee to help cover the cost of materials. Watch this space for updates on what’s on for the Sunflowerfest Kidz!
Fun, games and magic in the Enchanted Glade of Mystery and Surprises.
The Site and Camping Facilities:
Families have access to a separate and specially dedicated family camping area for peace of mind and quiet. There will be 2 singles camping paddocks and one dedicated solely to families.
HI There
Please can you send me the contact details of the Face-painter you had outside the kid’s Tennis Court last summer 2018? As I would really like to book her for my daughter’s birthday party next month! She was great!
Many thanks
Trish
Hello Trish,
Here at Festival Kidz we review festivals and do not have any involvement in running/organising them. If you need to find out the details of the face painter you will need to contact the festival directly. As they are having a year off in 2019 it’s probably best to try to contact them via their social media pages: facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SunflowerFest) or twitter (https://twitter.com/sunflower_fest).
Good luck!
