A weekend of concerts, traditional dance displays, workshops, children’s activities, sessions, a craft fair and trade stalls all based around the sea front and town centre. Swanage is popular with various dance sides from all around the country and there are usually around 50 sides dancing around the town all weekend.
Kids can learn circus skills, take part in impromptu plays and participate in the many workshops available.
There are free to enter concerts as well as paying concerts featuring top folk artists. There is also a very popular Saturday Ceilidh with caller Gordon Potts.
Something for everyone.
Swanage and the surrounding area has plenty of B&Bs, Guesthouses and campsites, but there is no campsite specifically for the festival.
