Festival ON THE BEACH in Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach. All music and camping activites are held at the Watergate Bay site, and all surfing, skate, BMX, shopping and beach activities are held at the Fistral Beach site, near the town centre.
The music line up is spectacular and the setting is picture postcard perfect.
Activities
Family activities within the festival include a circus, crafty workshops, and family yoga.
Outside the festival, older children can also book into surfing, sup and kayaking. Then of course there’s the beautiful Fistral beach itself…
Family Camping
The family camping is central, in Kirra campsite, close to the Campsite Village and Welfare.
Is boardmasters suitable for 16 years olds to go without an adult for the whole time?
I had a quick look at the website and it says that 16 and over can go unaccompanied, so that would be fine. There may be some restrictions for under 18s – it’s probably best if you contact the festival directly to get a complete answer.
Are there any restrictions regarding suitable age for children to go to the headline act ?
The Boardmaster’s website has some information regarding children attending the festival which says:
However I cannot find anything relating to taking children to the headline act, so I assume you will be responsible to determine if you think the act is suitable for your age children. Just remember that headline acts are usually LOUD so take precautions with your child’s hearing and take ear defenders for them.
