From Field to festival
A family friendly festival slash extreme village fete. An A – Z of weekend entertainment from Asparagus Eating Competitions through to a Zoo of the petting variety.
Its chilled atmosphere will make it a great choice for families. Its location, slap in the heart of England, makes it easy to reach from anywhere in the country.
Activities
Making cheese, caring for chickens or developing a skill in an old and traditional craft – traditions of the British isles were represented by Morris Men and Sword dancers, plus dance from around the world.
Relax and watch the traditions of the British isles, with resident Morris teams, plus dance from around the world at AsumStage.
Take a trip down Memory Lane. As well as the Ashdown WW2 Army Camp (staffed from 10am Sunday) there’ll be steam engines, vintage cars and amazing displays of agricultural machinery from times past and more.
Toddlers to teenagers all find something to do at AsparaFest. A petting zoo, a vintage fair and the Youth Activity Zone are just some of the highlights.
