Launched in the pandemic summer of 2021, Good Vibrations Society is a weekend of camping, wellness, music, discussion and wild swimming along with healthy and hearty food, drink and an opportunity to commune in the stunning environment of The Ashdown Forest.

Good Vibrations Society has been created within the close knit, creative community (including FestivalKidz favourite frontman Gentleman’s Dub Club’s Johnny Scratchley), and the whole team is dedicated to the preservation of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Alongside the entertainment there are regular walks across the Ashdown Forest, talks on conservation and collaboration with local charities concerned with the maintenance of the local area and a dedication to The Ashdown Forest Foundation.

Good Vibrations Society invites a selection of incredible musicians to perform at the idyllic Pippingford Park. Spanning world music, exploring sound pathways from founders and forefathers to new school boundary breakers. Huge headliners take the stage at this intimate family friendly event.

The Hive is a kaleidoscopic kids hub and evolving playspace creating a cauldron of fun. The Montessori inspired area offers workshops, facepainting, crafts and play. A space to build friendships and stretch imaginations.

The Shala onsite sanctuary of wellness and spirituality, hosts an exciting line-up of world and devotional music, classes and workshops. Curated by local Yoga Studio – Yard Yoga, a local sanctuary offering a vibrant mix of Hot, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Pregnancy and Yin Yoga.

Accommodation: Boutique Camping options are provided by The Happy Glamper and caravans and camper vans are also welcome, with paid options for electric hook-up, wifi, toilets and warm showers.

Family ready!
Good Vibes is a safe, welcoming space for adults and children to play in the fields and through the trees. Family-friendly camping areas are offered in both the Boutique and main camping fields and engaging play opportunities during the day including guided walks and foraging trips out across the Ashdown Forest.

Children under 5 go free and the festival also offers family tickets with a built-in discount through their website.

Food and Drink: All tastes and tummy’s catered for with a selection of food stalls, a seated vegetarian restaurant and even a local village pub – ‘The Dragonfly inn’!

Good Vibrations Society also hosts a small after party venue amongst the trees where DJs keep the party going once the main stage has closed each evening.

The event is still only a small capacity of 2,500 people so book tickets early
