The Chepstow Estate is the perfect festival site! Idyllic country park land with a awe inspiring view, nestled beneath the gaze of a large ruined mansion house. It lies adjacent to the famous Wye Valley walk with far reaching views over the Severn bridges.

Introducing the new EDEN Village with hands-on workshops, talks, kid’s area, music and dance, wilderness skills workshops for all ages and Forest School for children.

Sunrise is the place to expect the unexpected, taste the field of infinite possibility, and prepare for the family holiday of a lifetime. Warning: ‘cynicism may be dangerously dulled by exposure to so much good will!’   2013 saw the launch of the first ever festival micronation, and it continued to lead the field in sustainable outdoor event production from their organic, local food and drink, to the site-wide compost loos, through to the first ever integrated festival power grid.

Also one of the UK’s most family-friendly festivals, tucked away in the northern regions of the Sunrise Nation lies magical realm of Storyland. Here the little folk rule…and they don’t mean the bearded and well-honed hobbits of The Shire…. here be the Pixies and Goblins of lore! With their award-winning kids’ area, the whole family can be entertained with arts, crafts and plenty of undercover activities. In Storyland, their motto is ‘kids always welcome, adults welcome if they behave!’

Kids activities include (deep breath!):
Arts & crafts, forest school, theatre tent, bushcraft skills, climbing in the magical forest, a bouncy castle, a skate ramp, soft play, sand pits, kids’ discos, cookery, pottery, yoga, gymnastics, circus skills, drumming, kung fu, dancing, indoor play, chill out space and storytelling among many others!

Key activities:
8 stages, 5 unique micro-regions, 100s of bands, DJs, speakers and workshops, 96 hours of non-stop inspiration, innovation and entertainment, fully family-friendly, kids activities, boutique camping, local and organic artisan food, pioneering work in sustainability.
