What’s not to love about this charming little festival? It has a beautiful site on a real working farm, allowing a proper space for children to run wild and free.
There’s no specific kids’ area; instead, there are activities for children across the site, which for us is a huge positive as it means we won’t be stuck in the kids’ field all weekend!
As the festival is on a farm, there are also fun farming activities such as tractor rides, sheepdog training as well as chances to meet the animals, which is always hugely popular with the children.

With two main stages and a DJ yard, there will be plenty of entertainment for the adults, and kids’ activities include DJ skills, arts and craft workshops, storytelling, farm tours, junior discos, a carnival parade and all kinds of crafts and interactive theatre.
The community vibe is strong with this festival. The Community Farm, which is where Valley Fest is held, is a community-owned social enterprise, growing and selling organic food through a box delivery service. All the food at the festival is 100% organic, and you can order a food box for either a Midnight Feast on Saturday night or a Sunday picnic – with the idea that everyone sits down together for a huge picnic – we can’t wait!
