The festival is looking for a new home, a message on their Facebook page says:

“After a very lengthly and patient wait for the confirmation dates of Basham Festival 2013 to be held at Manor farm. We have been informed yesterday by land owner Gary Walters that plans are now being put forward for property development within the acres required for the festival. A massive disappointment as you can gather. We will be putting our feelers out for other sites, be it for this year or next…”

A vibrant music and arts family friendly festival in support of Dorothy House, which will be fun for the kids as well as yourselves. The organisers aim to bring a strong sense of community spirit into their festival by having a lovely relaxed friendly crowd wishing to be entertained as well as wanting to have plain and simple good old fun.

Safe on-site camping and free parking, Kids Arena & Workshops, Activity tents, Themed bars, Stalls & Fabulous food!

All profits made from Basham Festival will go to Dorothy House, who give free high-quality care and support to people with life threatening illness. Dorothy House Hospice Care supports around 700 families affected by cancer, motor
neurone disease and other life threatening conditions every day. Patients are looked after from a wide geographical area – Bath, north and west Wiltshire and parts of Somerset.
