Chiddfest

Since its beginnings in 2014, this rural festival in the heart of East Sussex has already made quite a name for itself. Each year Chiddfest attracts an increasingly impressive line up. The festival is held in aid of St Wilfred’s Hospice

Music

Chiddfest has two stages featuring a variety of jazz, blues and rock artists. There is also the Buskers Booth.

2018 is the first year there will be a tribute Sunday with some of the best tribute acts in the UK. Tributes to The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Stereophonics, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, and the Foo Fighters.

Camping

Here you will find hot showers, and there are posh loos whilst there is also glamping option.

Food

There is a range of tasty food on offer in the stalls catering for every taste. As it’s in the country, expect to find a hog roast. Of course, you’ll be able to buy icecreams, so hopefully the weather will be hot enough to warrant them.

For Children

This is an expanding festival with more and more ideas being introduced each year. There has been face painting in previous years. It is safe to expect to find plenty to keep children entertained in a children’s area in full view of the bar. The organisers are considering play areas, craft activities and children’s shows.

Chiddfest is also dog friendly!
