This “festival” is far from a “fantastic day out” for the family, let alone for anyone I imagine. I am very passionate about music and in a band myself, the music there was not impressive, although the performers could sing well and were talented I left feeling sorry for them, especially when through the performance of ‘everyoung’ one of the members on stage said to the crowd “is this as cringey and awkward for you as it is for us?” I dont realy feel that any good “festival” should have that said to a crowd and it seemed to sum up the feeling of the room. The entertainment was equally as disappointing, the kids area was bland and too similar and inflatables were fairly boring. The petting zoo was good and interesting and the people were nice, this was actually the only good part of the “festival” what I enjoyed.one part of the advertised “festival” which I looked forward to was the sci fi displays and in costume displays, from doctor who and star wars, I am a fan of both especially star wars and the doctor who was disappointing, it seemed very unprofessional, and I did not even see the star wars group around the festival at all, and I was there for over an hour. Lastly the pricing was very high for what was there, the saying you get what you pay for, was wrong in this case. Maybe the pricing clouded my expectation too much, but the price of 50 pound for our family to go out to a disappointment is rediculous. Overall in summary I describe the whole event as bleak, bland boring unprofessional and disappointing, I applaud the skill to make sand orginise such a failure.
