Preston Park will welcome some top local and national artists perform to the city of Brighton for the first ever Together The People.
A new family focussed music & arts festival in Preston Park, Brighton with discounted tickets for under 16’s & under 11’s FREE.
Highlights include Super Furry Animals, Billy Bragg, The Levellers, Cat In The Hat Live, Horrible Histories Live, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Roots Manuva & lots more.
TTP Festival has a 5,000 capacity over 2 days. No camping, this music and arts festival will take place in Preston Park, Brighton on the Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2015.
The primary focus is to celebrate Music, Food, Community, Film and Arts within the city of Brighton by delivering a high quality, creative, family friendly and socially aware event accessible to all.
TTP will host Music Stages on-site as well as a Picturehouse pop-up Cinema and a ‘Soapbox’ Tent where local community groups and charities can talk about their work, and the public can engage with political & social bodies in Q&A sessions. They will also offer this stage as a platform for other creative arts such as literature, poetry and dance.
Scattered around the site will be several bars serving beverages from local breweries and international brands, as well as a market/diner area which will exclusively house local independent food, clothing and arts concessions. The event will be commissioning an emerging visual artist to create a centerpiece work for the weekend and will provide a series of pop up galleries around site for artists to use for live and exhibition purposes.
Together The People aim to power the site with renewable energy sources and use biodegradable and recyclable materials across all concessions making the event as environmentally sound as possible. They will also partner with local charity Brighton Housing Trust for the event.
Children under 11 are free. Adults £75 weekend £39.50 day. Child 11yrs – 16yrs £20 per day.
Gates will open at 1200 on both days with a curfew of 2200.
