The Wild Festivals is the first travelling family festival we know of and are running at 7 different locations all over the UK in 2019.

A small, low cost, non commercial music festival group offering camping breaks and festivals tailored for all age groups to enjoy.

15th – 22nd April: Buckinghamshire
4th – 6th May: Lincolnshire
27th May – 2nd June: East Sussex
25th – 28th July: Essex
29th July – 5th Aug: North Yorkshire
19th – 26th Aug: North Wales
26th Aug – 2nd Sep: Oxfordshire

Each festival features two days of live music from 1pm until late, a host of child-friendly entertainers and workshops and lots of acoustic music fire pit gatherings during the pre camps.

Low cost family holidays

All tickets are £30 adults and £12 children, no extra charges no matter what you camp in so families in camper vans and caravans don’t need to worry about mounting costs. Pre camping is frozen at £5 per night for adults & children up to 15 camp free so guests can choose to stay and have a whole week camping, with a mini festival thrown in for £55 an adult and £12 a child.

Pretty good value at just £134 for a five night holiday for a family of 4.

All events are during the school holidays giving families single parents and those not in a position to afford big family holidays the chance to have a cut priced camping break and a great music festival, without needing to save all year for a ticket.

Events are completely non commercial with no food stalls or bars allowing families to bring their own supplies and encouraging sharing. A group/communal bbq’s is located near the main stage where everyone can sit together to eat while the music is on.

Plenty of activitiese from yoga, belly dance, spoon carving, tribal dance, bush craft, circus and hoop workshops, jamming sessions around the fire pits, singing and playing all week.

With a growing Facebook community, Wild Festivals are a communal affair encouraging people to pull together and create a special, safe and friendly atmosphere. Their ethos is to try and help anyone that’s in need.

We look forward to checking out Wild Festivals this summer. Hope to see some of you there!
