Please get your entries in by Thursday 25th June!

We have been going to Blissfields for the last three years now, and it is a major highlight in our festival calendar. It’s not too big, so it’s easy to make friends and difficult to lose your children. It’s not too small, so the music and entertainment is as good as a larger festival. To us it is the best of both worlds.

The line up this year is HUGE, including The Horrors, Simian Mobile Disco, The Dub Pistols, John Grant, Public Service Broadcasting, Grandmaster Flash, Ghostpoet, Beans on Toast – check out the full list here.

The children’s field is run by Angel Gardens and so is always amazing, and even more is promised this year. There will be arts and crafts and activities, cheesy discos, a sports day and a large caberet tent. New for 2015 is an Activist Kidz club where young wannabe protesters can learn about why and how people campaign for an ideal – a wonderful fun way to educate children about politics.

The theme is Somewhere in Time – which is fantastic for those of us who want to get creative with a costume – you could go for 50s, 70s, 80s, or how about going for a time traveller or spaceman! Your children could be pirates, princesses – anything really!
