Babies, toddlers, big kids, tweens, teens and grown-up kids are all brilliantly catered for in the stunning surroundings of Lulworth Castle. Everywhere is gorgeously decorated and named to conjure up magical fairytale visions. You can chill and relax in the Heavenly Healing and Pamper Lounge areas (with free yoga and pilates each morning, for kids, families and even pregnant women).  You can get down to awesome world-class acts old and new in the Castle Field. There’s jousting, arts and crafts, merry-go-rounds, comedy, theatre, the WI, Bollywood, a farmers market, fireworks, storytelling, campfires,… there’s even the English National Ballet, albeit doing a rather unique performance! There is so much variety on the bill, you really are going to have to go browse the website (http://www NULL.campbestival NULL.net) I’m afraid!

There is Boutique Camping galore if you want to glamp it up and enjoy the festival in true luxury and style and if you just want a bit of extra space for you and your friends and family you can book that too (Camping Plus)…  Go a day early on Thursday and make a long weekend of it.  Please note that Glamping Options also sell out quickly (especially the more unusual ones like Gypsy Caravans).

Camping Plus:

Camping Plus is a unique initiative designed for all you campers that want to bag yourselves a nice bit of reserved camping space – a guaranteed 5m x 7m plot in the Camping Plus area, which has its own dedicated car park and entrance. Divided into lettered rows and coloured blocks to help you easily identify your pitch when you arrive (with Red & Orange closer to the entrance and Indigo & Violet closer to the arena), each plot is big enough for a large 4 person tent and can be individually booked so you can ensure you and any of your friends in Camping Plus are close together. You can also buy two pitches side-by-side if you have an especially big tent or want extra space for a gazebo.

Camping Plus also has easy access to exclusive showers, flushing loos and a top notch cafe so your all-important breakfast will be close at hand. So, if you want the peace of mind in knowing you can bring your family-sized tent and all of your camp site necessities and there will be the guaranteed space to pitch it when you arrive and if you want to ensure you can camp right by your friends and be close to a few luxuries all for just £100 per 5m x 7m plot (max of 2 adults and 4 children per plot), then Camping Plus is for you!

Please call 0844 888 4410 if you wish to book more than one plot to ensure they are together. Or, if you only want one plot you can book online: www.ticketline.co.uk/camp-bestival. (http://www NULL.ticketline NULL.co NULL.uk/camp-bestival#tour) Note Camping Plus is for people with tents only. If you have a Campervan you need to buy a Campervan Ticket.  There are only a limited number of plots available so please make sure you book as soon as possible to guarantee your Camping Plus plot.

We should say at this point that the Camp Bestival (http://www NULL.campbestival NULL.net) general camping experience is about as good as it gets and there will be plenty of room for you all to pitch your tents without too much overcrowding.  Camping Plus, however, is primarily designed with large families/groups in mind to offer them the peace of mind that they’ll be able to find the large plot they need, no matter what time they arrive at Camp Bestival (http://www NULL.campbestival NULL.net).  If you are not bothered about having much space and don’t want a large chill out area for your sprawling family and huge collection of mates then standard camping will be absolutely fine for you.

All in all a very well thought out festival, your kids will have an absolute ball and so will you :)

  7. How can I buy camping plus or boutique. Ticketline folks don’t sell these either online or call centre.

    help!

    • Camping Plus Tickets are not on sale yet. When they do go on sale, people who have already purchased 2012 Early Bird Tickets will be notified first, followed by people on the Camp Bestival mailing list. I presume you will then have the opportunity to upgrade if you want to.

As for Boutique Camping, I’m guessing it’s too early to book these as they will not have firmed up all the arrangements yet. You could try contacting the Camp Bestival organisers via their website http://www.campbestival.net (http://www NULL.campbestival NULL.net) or through their Facebook page and ask them if they know when you’ll be able to book boutique?
