Win Tickets to Nozstock 2019!
This summer Nozstock: The Hidden Valley celebrates its 21st anniversary, entering a small group of festivals who have reached over two decades of creating magic each summer. It’s a huge achievement for the family-run festival which is set across their working farm in the rolling hills of Herefordshire.
You can see what our parent reviewer thought of last year’s festival here.
This year the festival runs from Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st July.
Best Family Friendly Festivals 2019
People are always asking us which festival is the best!

Festivals have such a broad reach these days. There really is something for everyone. Do you want luxury or basic facilities, indie or world music, laid-back or party central?
So before you dive in and buy tickets…

Gorillaz, craziness and more at 2018’s Boomtown Fair
I admit I have what could amount to an obsession with interactive and immersive theatre. It was a love I discovered at Glastonbury Festival more than 20 years ago. I was a shy child and it took me a long time to come out of my shell. To pretend to be another character, to go along with a story and to pretend I’m in it, is a genuine thrill for me. Now that I have my own children I have involved them in this passion and noticed them finding confidence through joining in too. Read more…

Try something new!
We all have our favourite festivals we want to return to year after year but there are so many festivals in the UK (and abroad!) that we haven’t tried. So this year we all picked a festival that Festival Kidz hasn’t covered yet.
In May Naomi is trying out the gorgeous Shindig Weekender. June sees Sarah checking out Woodlands Festival. In July Lisa R is going to the brand new Timber Festival, Kirsty is going to Port Eliot Festival and Christina is reviewing our first ever French festival, Enchanted Arts. Then in August Lisa M is going to Wickham Festival and Catherine is hoping to try out Victorious and Carfest.

Best kids’ entertainers for grown-ups!
Lost your twinkle twinkle? Incey Wincey finally driven you round the bend? If you really couldn’t give a monkeys how many bags of wool he really had, then it’s time to rethink your kids entertainers at festivals.
