Summer Breeze 2011 Review

2010 and 2011 Summer Breeze Weather: Both years it was really hot, take shades as there isn’t a lot of shade!

Review by: Anonymous (with 2 kids aged 6 and 2)

The children managed to get really close to the music as its never too crowded and therefore they could see everything.    We have spent the last two summer breeze festivals bathed in sunshine, great music and fabulous crowds, It is an intimate festival where you can relax knowing your children are not far away. There are some activities provided for the children (face paints, large garden games, clown) – it would be great to see this developed further with craft activities. The food and beer are great and there are a few shops too. I would recommend this as a great first festival for children due to the small intimate feel.

Getting to the festival:

We didn’t camp last year and just drove in. It’s very close parking to the main event (metres) great for trips back to the car if needed.

Entertainment – Line up and Kids Activities:

There was a clown and face painting. Queues were short too.

What would you change or do to  improve the event?

More children friendly food… my two lived on ice cream!

Site and Facilities:

No baby changing. We took small pop up half tent which was great to shade the children in and changed them.

Toilets could have been cleaned more regularly.

Did you feel safe?

Yes. Very safe due to small scale.

Would you go again?

  1. We’re really pleased you enjoyed attending the Summer Breeze Festival. We hope you’re able to attend Summer Breeze 2012, this year on the 13-15th of July. You’ll be pleased to hear that we’ve teamed up with Junkfish for Summer Breeze 2012: They will be running our craft arena with lots of activities to keep the kids amused all weekend. Every year we strive to improve the event and constructive feedback really helps us – thank you!
