Chilled in a Field is a favourite of Festival Kidz because they have managed to retain the friendly festival vibe while creating a wonderful safe place for children to play. Due to its tiny size the children are free to roam around, make friends and explore while the parents can chill out and relax. There is live music, workshops and activities, local real ales and ciders, DJs and a relaxing Tea Tent so all tastes are catered for.

We were all happy to be back at Chilled in a Field, one of our family’s favourite festivals. 2019 was the festival’s fourth time at Bentley, and it’s a great venue.

The family festival that feels like a proper holiday
Chilled in a Field returned to Bentley in 2018 after a year off, and it felt like the festival had come back home. The venue works so well for the festival, and this year Chilled in a Field managed as close to a perfect festival as any I’ve been to.

Six reasons to be excited about 2018
A Glastonbury Festival fallow year is always a strange one for the people that go every year. I used to be one of them – and even now I still get a pang every year when it’s on – so I understand that you might have a festival-shaped hole to fill.
Still let’s hope that the 2018 hole isn’t just full of mud! Although even if it is, it won’t stop us from having fun.
The great thing is that now there are so many other festivals to go to (we have over 150 on our site, with more added every year) that you could use this year to explore something completely new. Chilled in a Field keeps getting better and better. This was the fourth time our family have attended this event, and it was by far the best. A mix of great music, a friendly vibe, and an amazing venue has made this little festival one of our families’ firm favourites.
